The Development Officer will manage our major donor cultivation and stewardship programs in Sarasota and Tampa. Plan, promote, and execute Equality Florida’s largest events in Sarasota and Tampa.  The officer will support all Equality Florida’s development programs, represent Equality Florida at Sarasota and Tampa events; assist other development leaders as needed in St. Petersburg and Orlando. 

Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred but exceptions will be considered for candidates with extensive fundraising experience.  Minimum of 2 years fundraising preferred.  Candidates must be able to travel.  Have a demonstrated commitment to advancing Equality Florida’s goals and objectives and to the organization
