AFP Suncoast Event Flowers

An exceptional benefit of an AFP membership is the opportunity to apply for a chapter scholarship. Maybe there is a fundraising conference or course you would like to attend to achieve your professional/educational goals? To apply for an AFP Suncoast Chapter Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria.
 

Applicants Must

  1. Be a member in good standing of the AFP Suncoast Chapter for at least one year
  2. Have attended at least half of the scheduled chapter luncheon meetings over the 12 months prior to this application
  3. Be an active member of the board or serve on a chapter committee
  4. Be a contributor to AFP’s Every Member Campaign (EMC).

AFP Suncoast Chapter Scholarships 

  1. May not exceed $1,500
  2. May subsidize AFP annual dues
  3. Are not awarded for CFRE exam fees 
  4. May not be received in two consecutive years (Planet Philanthropy and Comprehensive Development Seminar are excluded.)  

Ideally, applications should be submitted six weeks prior to the conference.

This scholarship is sponsored by AFP International to send recipients to the International AFP Conference each year, and it is matched by the Suncoast Chapter. There is a separate scholarship application for the Chamberlain Scholarship Program.
