Scholarships
Our AFP
Chapter offers scholarships for members for various training opportunities
during the year. These scholarships generally cover a significant portion of
the cost of attending a training program. Scholarships are available only to
members, and no more than one per year can be awarded to any member.
To apply, please complete a Scholarship Application Form and submit to the
Chapter's Scholarship Chair at least one month before the training program
you wish to attend.

Scholarship Application
There is a separate Scholarship Application for
the Chamberlain Scholarship Program. This program is sponsored by the
national AFP to send recipients to the Annual International AFP Conference
each year. Contact the Scholarship Committee for more information.

“My organization, The Home Association, is
gearing up for a capital campaign for preservation of our historic building.
I saw an ad for a 2-day grant writing seminar that looked like just the
course I needed to take to learn the finer points of writing government
grants. Problem was, it was only a month and a half away and there was no
money in our budget to cover the costs. I took 15 minutes to fill out the
AFP Suncoast Scholarship application on the website and email it in. Within
a few weeks, I was notified that my application was approved and I was able
to attend the seminar. Now I have the tools, resources and confidence to
